Rasmussen was one of only 2,235 students to score a 36 on the ACT exam out of 2.1 million exam takers this academic year. On average, less than 1/10 of one percent of all test takers earn a composite score of 36.
The ACT consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science, each scored on a scale of 1–36. A student's composite score is the average of the four test scores.
CSISD has recently had five other students earn the highest possible score on the ACT, including Rohen Sukkawala (CSHS) and Raymond Tjhia (AMCHS) in 2015, Shilpa Saravanan (AMCHS) and Jiatao Liang (CSHS) in 2014 and Bryan Conlee (AMCHS) in 2013.
