Individually, Consol’s Tiffany Barrett won a third place ILPC Individual Achievement Award in the 5A-Division 2 category for her student life feature story.
The 2016 Tigerland also was featured in Balfour Publishing's national Yearbook Yearbook, in which their top yearbooks from schools and universities across the nation are featured for excellence. Tigerland was featured for its cover design and secondary coverage package created by staffer Maddie Miller.
Additionally, Balfour selected the Tigerland and FOUR yearbooks as a national sample publications. Sample yearbooks are used at yearbook workshops across the country and by Balfour's representatives in their selling efforts. Only two percent of their yearly publications are selected.
