Intensive College Readiness Classes Intensive College Readiness classes are 6 week prep sessions to ready the adult learner for entry into higher education. The classes are very intensive and rigorous. Those interested must be nominated and recommended.
Visit www.collegeprepforyou.com for more info or call the parent center 764-5504. The purpose of the Intensive College Readiness Programs for Adult Education Students (IP-AES) is to promote successful transition and college success through completion for General Education Development (GED) graduates and reentering adult learners. Successful programs will provide academically at-risk students with opportunities to gain skills associated with persistence and success in college while improving academic preparation in mathematics, reading, and writing. At-risk students eligible to participate in IP-AESs have earned a GED certificate or are adult learners seeking to enroll in a postsecondary training program. Reentering adult learners must be at least 20 years old to be eligible for services under this program. Resources and Libraries
