  • Kyle Wendt, a fourth grader in Rock Prairie Elementary, demonstrates selfless service by helping with Galveston beach clean up, St. Judes movie collection, and various volunteer events with 4-H.

  • A&M Consolidated High School and College Station High School teamed up to host their first Zombie Run 5K.

  • CSISD, in partnership with Scott & White hospital, has implemented a new program called Project SEARCH, which helps students with special needs develop job and life skills. Corey Leach is the program's first success story.

  • LINK TO VIDEO: Sydnei Banks, Vision for a Cleaner Earth
  • The CSISD Education Foundation awarded a renewable energy grant to enrichment specialists within the district. Since then, Pebble Creek Elementary fourth grader Sydnei Banks has taken on the responsibility of managing her school's recycling program.

  • A&M Consolidated High School junior Allison Shaffer talks about her children's book, "Tiny, The Christmas Tree" which was selected to be published by Driscoll Children's Hospital; the same hospital where Shaffer spent the first 63 days of her life.

  • LINK TO VIDEO: Annual FFA Petting Zoo
  • The FFA chapters and Young Farmers at A&M Consolidated High School and College Station High School team up every year to offer a free petting zoo to the community in order to promote the benefits of agriculture.

  • College Station High School sophomore Tess Teodoro talks about how dance has helped shape her lifestyle. Her ambitions of maintaining her title as a world-class dancer have driven her to persevere academically, athletically, and in her extra-curricular activities.

    • College Hills students, Harper and Maggie Cunningham, share their story about the founding of Books and a Blanket, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting literacy by providing students on free or reduced lunch with books and a blanket.

  • LINK TO VIDEO: PALS, Advocating for Acceptance
    • College Station students are making waves at school advocating acceptance through a club called Cougar Pals. The Pals program is an organization that teaches all students that being different is alright, and it's something that should be celebrated.
