New Teacher Induction

All new teachers to the district are supported for the first two years of employment through the New Teacher Induction program. Prior to the first days of professional development during the first year of employment, teachers attend four days of sessions that focus on student engagement, the Essential Elements of Instruction, classroom management, teacher-parent communication, team-building, the culture of CSISD, and campus/district procedures. Additional follow-up days occur during the remainder of the school year. All activities are supported by the campus Instructional Coaches.
