Substitute Opportunities

How often will I work as a CSISD substitute teacher?

Substitute teachers are called to work on an as needed basis. Though you cannot be guaranteed work everyday, those substitutes who want to work and consistently perform well stay very busy.

Because you may have other commitments during the week, you may sign up to substitute teach only on days convenient for you. For example, if you are working on a graduate degree and have class on Tuesday and Thursday, you may sign up to substitute only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We will work with you to accommodate your schedule.
