Curriculum Mapping
The College Station ISD uses a process called Curriculum Mapping to facilitate the production of curriculum and lesson plans. This ensures equal access to the curriculum for all students across the district. Each subject area/grade level has an electronic consensus map that shows the content, skills, and Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills that students will be addressing each semester. After lessons are taught, teachers input individual/diary maps to reflect upon the lessons for the next time they are taught. Each campus maintains its own maps through the support of the campus Curriculum Coach.
