Written quotations from at least three vendors secured and forwarded to the Director of Purchasing for safe keeping. |
$10,000-$24,999 |
Formal competitive quotations from at least three vendors solicited by the Director of Purchasing. This includes individual purchases with an aggregate annual value exceeding $10,000. Bid opportunity must be advertised in two successive issues of the local newspaper (The Eagle). |
| $25,000+ | Formal competitive procurement method as coordinated by Director of Purchasing. These methods include: * Competitive Bidding This includes purchases with an expected or known aggregate annual value of $25,000 or greater. Bid opportunity must be advertised once a week for at least two weeks in the local newspaper prior to the bid opening. Bid opening must be at least ten days from the date of the second publication. Competitive Bids over $25,000 must be presented to and awarded by the Board of Trustees. |
