The College Station ISD Board of Trustees will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. for a workshop and 7 p.m. for a regular meeting in the CSISD Boardroom (1812 Welsh Ave.).
Representatives from Physicians Premier Emergency Room visited River Bend Elementary School on Jan. 28 to officially establish their Adopt-A-School partnership with the campus.
Approximately 1,500 community members, local businesses and CSISD staff gathered at the Brazos County Expo Complex for the College Station ISD Education Foundation’s 17th annual 50 Men Who Can Cook event on Feb. 7. The event raised approximately $315,000 to support CSISD schools through the CSISD Education Foundation.
A total of eight CSISD wrestlers placed in the top four of their respective weight classes at the Region III-5A Wrestling Championships on Feb. 7-8 at Legends Event Center in Bryan to qualify for the UIL Class 5A Wrestling State Tournament, scheduled for Feb. 14-15 at the Berry Center in Cypress.
Seven CSISD high school music students recently earned All-State honors through the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) audition process.
A&M Consolidated High School junior Roman Seipp claimed his second state championship in speech and debate, earning first place in the UIL Conference 5A Congress State Championships held Jan. 8 in Austin.
