About Summer Day Camp
Summer Day Camp seeks to provide a unique and memorable day camp experience for each of our campers. Weekly, we host around 200 campers at each of our locations, who are then divided among different “cabin” groups. Our staff both expand and deepen their cabin’s culture and traditions each summer with our campers.
Several different components in our program offer participants opportunities to serve, develop, and connect with peers and staff. Morning round ups bring all of our campers together to kick start our day with energy and moments of reflection within our cabin groups. Moving into morning activities, campers engage in week long focused sports, crafts, or outdoor skills. When we are not traveling the great state of Texas, our afternoons consist of large and small group choice activities that center around a common theme.
Fieldtrips remain as one of our favorite pieces to our program. From major league baseball games and theme parks to skating and museums, our trips provide campers with experiences they might not otherwise get to experience outside of camp; therefore, we are honored and appreciate these times with them.
