AMCHS students place at state UIL meet

A&M Consolidated High School students Kensen Shi and Brooke Versaw each placed in their respective events at the recent Texas UIL Academic Meet.

Kensen Shi placed fourth in computer science and also tied for fifth in science.  Additionally, he placed first in the physics portion of the science competition.

Brooke Versaw placed 6th in spelling and vocabulary.

Patrick Lynch (informative speaking) also competed in an individual event at the state meet, while Samantha Wang, Shilpa Saravanan, and Shreya Shankar competed in the team spelling and vocabulary event.

The students were coached by Terri Casto (spelling), Michelle Jedlicka (science), Dianne Rister (computer science), and Roy Rodriguez (informative speaking).
