The College Station ISD Education Foundation is proud to announce that for the sixth year in a row, Commerce National Bank will be the “Top Chef - $7,500” sponsor for the seventh-annual 50 Men Who Can Cook.

The event will be held Friday, January 31, 2014 from 6:30-9:30 pm at the Brazos County Expo Complex.

CNB Vice President Mike McBerty at a recent A&M Consolidated football game presented a check to Foundation Director Teresa Benden and Board President Brad Corrier.

"We sincerely appreciate the generous contribution from Commerce National Bank toward our signature fundraiser 50 Men Who Can Cook,” said Corrier. “Commerce National Bank has been a strong supporter of the CSISD Foundation for many years and is a major reason we have been able to make a difference in our local schools."

The Education Foundation was started in 1999 and thanks to overwhelming community support has raised almost $1.7 million for local schools.   The Foundation this year will surpass over $600K awarded in teaching grants and over $220K awarded in scholarships for graduating seniors.  It is directed by a 30-member board comprised of local business owners and parents.
