AMCHS robotics team wins first place at regional competition, advances to state

In light of their recent win, the team will travel to Dallas to compete at the state and national competition at the University of Texas at Dallas on November 7-9.

BEST is a national robotics competition for high school and middle school students. Each year, BEST presents students with a new robot challenge and students are given six weeks to design, build, and market a fully functioning robot.

A regional competition is hosted by a local hub and teams are then judged and ranked. Teams are judged on their effective use of an engineering process and marketing strategy.

Tiger Robotics has won first place at the regional competition nine out of the last 11 years.
