These students presented their projects, ranging from metal fire pits to 20-foot bumper-pull trailers, against other competitors from across Texas.
The following projects won awards:
20 Foot Bumper Pull Utility Trailer- Jeremy Wilson, Mason Gold, Dustin McGee, Nick Raley and David Buxkemper- Blue Ribbon Project at both shows and placed 3rd in their class at San Antonio and San Angelo
16 Foot Bumper Pull Utility Trailer- Jaylon Kallie, Ryan Bouse and Dereck Mills- Blue Ribbon Project San Antonio
Fire Pit- Aaron Crum and Michaela Cheyne-Blue Ribbon Project San Angelo

Front Replacement Bumper- Cisco Hurtado and David Hildebrandt-Blue Ribbon Project San Angelo

In addition to exhibiting projects, several students also competed in a oxy-fuel cutting contest. More than 120 students participated in the single-elimination contest which was won by AMCHS FFA member Mason Gold. Gold received a $500 scholarship and a welding hood.
