CSHS culinary wins local competition

The winning dish was a prosciutto wrapped chicken breast stuffed with chèvre, sun dried tomato and basil pesto. The students also prepared a basil pesto gnocchi and sautéed asparagus.

The Texas Restaurant Association awarded the team $500 and Kesco generously provided a $100 gift certificate. The Taste of Aggieland organizers provided embroidered chef coats to each student.
