AMCHS ag mechanics places sixth in Texas

Qualifying in April as one of the top 30 teams in Texas, the AMCHS team was led by senior Nick Raley, who finished as the ninth-highest individual out 120 total competitors.

In addition to Raley, the four-person team consisted of Mason Gold, David Buxkemper and Dustin McGee.

In the competition, students took a 100 question test over mathematical application in agriculture, 12 volt electrical circuits and other agriculture knowledge.

In addition, they had a team activity and individual activities to perform related to the contest's theme -- forage production.
