Wendler named 2014 CSISD Paraprofessional Employee of the Year

Wendler has dedicated a total of 23 years of service to CSISD. She began her career at CSISD as a resource instructional assistant for special education, and is currently a kindergarten instructional assistant for South Knoll Elementary -- a position she has held for the past six years.

When asked why working for CSISD was important to her, Wendler said, “The impact one can leave on a child can be profound. CSISD gives me that opportunity. I sincerely enjoy being that positive influence for each child I meet.”

Paraprofessionals work in roles such as instructional assistants, attendance clerks, and administrative assistants.
