CSISD robotics teams earn multiple awards at Brazos BEST competition

BEST, or Boosting Science, Technology and Engineering, is a national robotics competition in which high school and middle school students design, build, and market a fully-functional robot in six weeks.

Teams are judged on their effective use of an engineering process and marketing strategy. Teams create a marketing booth, give an oral presentation, write and project engineering notebook, and display spirit and sportsmanship. The overall BEST category winner is determined by the total number of points received in each category.

The four CSISD teams competed for approximately 12 hours against more than 20 teams from throughout the Brazos Valley.
