A Certified Nursing Aide assists patients or clients with healthcare needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
This program consists of 100 hours of classroom and clinical training, and students are required to take and pass a state-administered skills test and a written test.
Clinical hours were performed at Golden Creek Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Navasota, under the direction of the Director of Nursing Rhonda Osgood, RN.
Instructors for the course were Dr. Michelle Aucoin and Jackie DeFriend, RN from AMCHS.
