Jackson Lacey, Rita Santoso, Caroline Zerbe from AMCHS and Becky Nam and Tess Teodoro from CSHS each advanced a piece to state.
In all, judges saw 771 entries from throughout the region and selected 49 pieces of art to represent Region 6 at the state competition.
Additionally, 27 CSISD artists won a total of 57 medals in their respective division. Many students had more than one entry.
