AMCHS student Ian Tremblay placed third, winning a $1,500 scholarship for his project titled "The Evaluation of the Effectiveness of High Tannin Sorghum Bran as an Antioxidant in Turkey Breakfast Sausage."
The AMCHS Poultry Judging team consisting of Tara De Leon, Tara Hennigar, Kayla Wallace, Kristen Akin, and Katie Woodworth placed 22nd out of 97 teams. DeLeon was the 34th place individual out of more than 350 competitors. The CSHS Poultry team placed 73rd. The team consisted of Trew Adams, Preston Bunner, Elizabeth Schroeder, and Lea Shoemake.
AMCHS students Kayla Hanson placed ninth in her respective class of Simbrah heifers.
Horticulture - Rodeo Cup Floral Design Competition
AMCHS students Tabitha Wheeler and Julia Edrington made it to the finals of the floral design competition out of approximately 150 contestants. Wheeler placed 5th. Also, AMCHS’s Kayla Wallace placed 10th out of approximately 100 contestants in the potted container plants competition.
The CSHS nursery landscape team placed 31st out of 47 teams. The team consisted of only two students, Keaton Schrank and Hannah Murphy, and placed above teams of three and four.
The CSHS Floriculture placed 31st. The team consisted of Darian Harris, Megan Bob, Samantha Hooter, and Kassidy McCabe, who was 12th high Individual out of 324 competitors.
State Tractor Technician Contest
AMCHS juniors Michaela Cheyne, Noah Langley and Tyler Reim placed second out of 20 teams in the state tractor technician contest. Individually, Reim placed fourth and Langley placed fifth. The team took home more than $5,000 in prizes.
The AMCHS wildlife team of Aaron Crum, Ian Tremblay, Tyler Reim and Noah Langley placed sixth out of 42 teams. Tremblay was the fifth high point individual out of 117 participants. CSHS Wildlife team placed 20th. The team consisted of Kaitlyn Dyer, Weston Bomnskie, Austin Mincher, and Logan Praytor.
The AMCHS livestock judging team placed 17th out of 330 teams. Team members were Kayla Hanson, Thomas Edrington, Emily McCleary and Jacob Jacob Hanson. Kayla Hanson was the 13th high point individual out of more than 1,100 participants.
The CSHS meats team placed 28th out of 67 teams. The team consisted of Austin Mincher, Alyssa Roach, Bailey Simmons, and Lindsey Rogers.

Several AMCHS students exhibited their agricultural mechanics projects, which all received a blue ribbon for construction, design and finish.
