Parkerson will begin her duties on January 1, filling in for Mike Martindale, who was recently promoted to Deputy Superintendent for Business and Operations.
“Tiffany is an up-and-coming administrator in CSISD and is well-respected by her peers,” Ealy said. “She has proven to be an effective instructional leader and has the complete skill-set to lead the campus while we search for a permanent replacement.”
A comprehensive search for the permanent replacement will begin in March.
Parkerson has been employed by CSISD since 2003, where she started as an English teacher at A&M Consolidated HS. Since then, she has served as an instructional coach, English department chair, and most recently, an assistant principal at College Station HS.
Parkerson earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Texas A&M in 2002 and her Masters of Education from Texas A&M in 2010.
