The CSISD Board of Trustees is expected to approve the hire at its meeting on Tuesday, June 19.
Perry will fill the vacancy left by current Chief Administrative Officer Greg McIntyre, who recently announced his retirement after serving 32 years in public education. Of that, 29 of the years were in CSISD.
“We will certainly miss Greg McIntyre and everything he has contributed to CSISD during his tremendous career,” Ealy said. “That being said, I am really excited to see how Molley’s work ethic and leadership style will positively impact our organization.”
Perry will continue to oversee the district’s accountability and special services, while adding the human resources, technology, student services and community education departments.
Prior to her current position, Perry has served as Director for Special Services in both College Station ISD and Bryan ISD. Prior to her administrative roles, Perry was an Educational Diagnostician a special education teacher.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2000 and a Master of Education in Special Education from Texas Tech in 2005. In addition, she is currently a candidate for a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration at Texas A&M.
Perry and her husband, Joel, have a son named Grant, who will be an eighth-grader at Wellborn Middle School and a daughter named Maggie, who will be a sixth-grader at Pecan Trail Intermediate.
CSISD will post a job opening for the Director of Special Services to replace that portion of Perry’s current duties. The posting will be for internal candidates only.
