Four students from A&M Consolidated High School and College Station High School recently earned a trip to the state Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) contest.

The students qualified at the Region 4 meet and will compete at the state competition April 4-6 in Dallas.

FCCLA contests include STAR events and family and consumer science assessments.

STAR Events

STAR Events (Students Taking Action with Recognition) are competitive events in which members are recognized for proficiency and achievement in chapter and individual projects, leadership skills, and career preparation.

  • Regan Hedrick, CSHS: 2nd in Teach and Train Occupational
  • Kaylee Glaspie, Maddy Henderson and Akyrra Page, AMCHS: 3rd in Chapter in Review-Portfolio

Family and Consumer Science Assessments

The following CSISD students earned gold, silver, or bronze on their respective exam. Gold medal winners advance to state.
