Over the years, the district has used surveys to collect feedback on a variety of topics. These tools were valuable in helping us understand our strengths, the challenges we face, and the hopes our community has for the future of CSISD.

Over the past few years, we’ve heard from stakeholders that we need more effective and meaningful ways to share feedback that feel safe, transparent, and valued. In the summer of 2025, we began exploring tools to help achieve that goal. After several months of research and planning, we chose ThoughtExchange to better understand the experiences of our staff, students, and families, and to use that insight to guide decisions across our district.

The feedback collected through ThoughtExchange will help guide decisions across the district. We’ll look for patterns, themes, and priorities to understand what’s working well and where improvements are needed.

The insights will be shared with district and school leaders, board members, and the broader community as appropriate, and will be used to strengthen leadership, support staff, improve communication, and create a positive, inclusive culture for all students and employees.
