Advanced Classes

Advanced Courses in CSISD are designed to challenge students academically while providing a supportive bridge between On-Level classes and more rigorous options such as AP and Dual Credit. These courses carry a higher GPA weight, giving students the opportunity to strengthen their academic record while building the skills, study habits, and independence needed for success in future advanced coursework.

Advanced Courses emphasize critical thinking, deeper exploration of content, and increased academic expectations. They are an excellent choice for students who are ready for more challenges, want to grow their confidence, or plan to pursue AP or Dual Credit classes later in high school.
