Early Head Start uses Frogstreet "Love and Learn Home Based Curriculum".

Frog Street's "Love & Learn Home-Based Curriculum" is designed for home visitors to empower parents in creating high quality leanring experiences for children aged 0-36 months. This curriculum incorporates Conscious Discipline® strategies and focuses on using everyday routines and materials within the home environment. It includes over 500 learning experiences and 150 parent education pages covering health, safety, nutrition, and developmental milestones.

  The curriculum is specifically designed to capitalize on the learning opportunities within the home environment. 

• Parent Empowerment:
  It provides guidance for home visitors to equip parents with the tools and knowledge to support their child's development. 

• Conscious Discipline Integration:
  It integrates Conscious Discipline® strategies, which are known for promoting social-emotional development and positive behavior. 

• Everyday Routines as Learning:
  The curriculum utilizes everyday routines and materials to create engaging learning experiences. 

• Age-Appropriate Activities:
  It includes over 500 learning experiences tailored for children aged 0-36 months. 

• Parent Education:
  It features 150 pages of parent education materials covering health, safety, nutrition, and developmental milestones. 

• Home Visit Model:

Head Start and Pre-K use SAVVAS "Three Cheers for Pre-K" curriculum.

Savvas Three Cheers for Pre-K is a comprehensive pre-kindergarten curriculum developed by SAVVAS Learning Company.  It focuses on preparing children for kindergarten by balancing academics and play, and it emphasizes social-emotional and culturally responsive learning. The program includes a variety of resources, such as interactive games, digital activities, and online narrated books, designed to engage young learners. 

• Texas Education Agency and Office of Head Start Approved:
  The curriculum aligns with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework and TEA Pre-K Guidelines.

• Balanced Approach:
  The curriculum combines academic instruction with playful learning experiences. 

• Core Disciplines:
  It covers key areas like literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, health, technology, and the arts. 

• Theme-Based Units:
  Learning is organized around engaging and relevant themes, with nine month-long units.
