Title I Parent and Family Engagement (PFE)
The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) recognizes the importance of the participation of parents and families in education to help children achieve. Title I PFE funds aim to enable parents and families at Title I-designated campuses to participate in school-related meetings and/or training sessions that will help increase student academic achievement.
Each campus that receives Title I funds develops a Campus Parent & Family Engagement Policy and a School-Parent Compact. As a district, with the help of families, we create a Title I Parent & Family Engagement Policy. These policies guide the opportunities for us to work together.
