Employee Transfers
CSISD allows its full-time employees the opportunity to transfer their child to the school of their choice. This applies only to the children the employee has legal guardianship over and does not apply to employee grandchildren, nephews/nieces, cousins, etc. See Board Policy FDA (local) for more information.
Returning employees wishing to apply for a transfer for the 2026-27 school year must do so between Jan. 5 - Feb. 27, 2025.
New employees to CSISD, or current CSISD employees who are changing campus locations, may request a transfer within 10 business days of hire.
Employee transfers are approved for one academic year only. A new application must be submitted each year.
