COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The College Station ISD Board of Trustees met Tuesday, January 21.  The following discussions and actions are of note.

WORKSHOP

Discussion regarding opening participation for non-resident students for certain CTE programs at College View High School:  The board continued discussions regarding the possibility of opening the fire sciences career and technical program at College View High School to those high school students who live outside of CSISD attendance boundaries.

Currently, board policy stipulates that only students who reside within CSISD boundaries can attend CSISD schools, with the only exception being that of CSISD employees.

The board viewed possible potential policy language and will revisit the item at its February meeting.
