HS Summer School Guidelines

Summer school attendance is critical for student success.  Due to the self-paced nature of the curriculum, students with poor attendance may be in jeopardy of not being able to complete a course.  Therefore, our attendance policy requires a student NOT to accumulate more than 3 unexcused absences.  Students who exceed 3 absences without PRIOR notification, will be dropped from summer school and will not be eligible for a refund.

Our online summer school curriculum requires a student to be self-motivated, driven, and dedicated in order to be successful.  Students who enrolled in an online course must submit all projects by the assigned dates, if not earlier.  Online progress will be monitored on a daily basis.  Students who are not making adequate progress, may be required to meet with the teacher on-site for assigned day sessions. ** Online Students are required to complete unit exams on campus either in class or during the afternoon open proctor in library.

We recognize that the summer is a very busy time for our students and we will excuse most absences so long as they are within reason and we are provided prior documentation.  To provide documentation, please email,
