Martindale named Superintendent of Schools:  Interim Superintendent Mike Martindale was officially named Superintendent of Schools in a unanimous vote by the Board of Trustees.

Martindale became the Interim Superintendent on February 3 with the official departure of former Superintendent Dr. Clark Ealy, who left for the same position in Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD.

He was named Lone Finalist on February 25, and by state law, a finalist for the superintendent position must complete a 21-day waiting period before officially being named the superintendent of schools.
