A&M Consolidated boys’ basketball district co-champs; both CSISD teams enter playoffs
Feb. 15, 2024–The District 21-5A boys’ basketball season ended on Feb. 13, with both CSISD teams qualifying for the UIL playoffs.
A&M Consolidated High School posted a 12-2 district record, tying with Montgomery ISD’s Lake Creek High School for the district title. The Tigers will enter the playoffs as the second seed for District 21-5A based on head-to-head matchups with Lake Creek during district play.
College Station High School tied with Brenham High School for third place with a 7-7 record and flipped for seeding. The Cougars enter the playoffs as District 21-5A’s third seed.
The Tigers and Cougars will enter the UIL Region III-5A playoffs with the following bi-district matchups:
- College Station will face Waco ISD’s University High School at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 19 at Centerville High School (813 S. Commerce St.); and
- A&M Consolidated will play Killeen ISD’s Shoemaker High School at 6 p.m. on Feb. 20 at Hearne High School (1201 W. Brown Street).
