Feb. 21, 2024–Seventeen athletes from A&M Consolidated High School qualified for the UIL Swimming and Diving Championships following the Region VI-5A Championships, held Feb. 9-10 at the Texas A&M Student Recreation Natatorium. The Tiger girls claimed the regional title with 336 points and the boys placed second with 269 points.
The first- and second-place finishers in each region and next eight swimmers with the best regional finish times in the state advance to the UIL Swimming and Diving Championships, to be held Feb. 23-24 at the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin. In diving, the top three finishers in each of the eight regions advance to state.
The following girls will represent CSISD at state:
- Freshman Brooklyn Poole,
- 200-yard individual medley (2:08.11); and
- 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.28).
- Junior Katherine Rasmussen,
- 200-yard individual medley (2:12.20); and
- 100-yard backstroke (57.61).

- 200-yard freestyle relay – Sam Poole, Sammy Shankar, Ariana Larsen, Katherine Rasmussen (1:40.74);
- 200-yard medley relay – Katherine Rasmussen, Sam Poole, Sammy Shankar, Mackenzie O’Donnell, and alternate Ella Coker (1:48.31); and
- 400-yard freestyle relay – Sam Poole, Mackenzie O’Donnell, Ariana Larsen, Brooklyn Poole, and alternate Ella Coker (3:40.45).
